The 2.5 CRDi engine in the iLoad is a great base for tuning as it is in essence a detuned version of the 2.5 CRDi 168hk found in the i800 and Kia Sorento but with a different turbo unit. Although the peak torque increase is only 58Nm, if you view the dyno chart on the link above, you can see that in parts of the rev range there is over 149Nm torque increase which provides for a massive change to the performance. We have another state of tune available for this engine which is 174hk ad 415Nm torque, at this power output it is purely from limiter removal alone and absolutely no additional fuel or boost pressure has been added! We develop all of our software on the rolling road to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fuelling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures are all within tolerance. Our aim is for maximum power whilst maintaining optimum reliability.
